@byrdma12 Your very nice comment is very humbling and brings us all back to what really matters. I too remember the magic and innocence of Christmas as a young girl. As parents, we have a responsibility to preserve experiences like ours for your children and grand children. I think the reality of so many working moms has spoiled much of that for this generation. I know I struggle to find the time to make this short span of 30 days something special … even for my adult children. Bless U.. RR
I love your videos i am 15years old and i love decorating my room and i love christmas and i was wondering it might dsond crazy but on how your can decorate your room with christmas stuff but not looking like it is too much.

i love the video and the decorations! at 6:17 when the shot of the angels on your roof melted away i gasped because for a split second i thought your roof collapsed…haha i felt stupid!
I’ve always done my own outdoor lights and always to my parents home! Guess I’m pretty good at cause everyone loves them. And, when I am late putting them up (which happens alot…lol) all the neighbors ask when I am going to put them up cause they love them and miss them! Hope my knee does ok this year to be able to get on the roof…ugh.

I think it’s ridiculous that people would get offended just because you would have Christmas lights up. After all, the birth of Jesus is exactly what Christmas should be about! That’s why it’s CHRISTmas! I hate that the “politically correct” term for Christmas is the “holiday” season now. What is this world coming to? Anyway, i’ve been enjoying your Christmas videos! I just discovered your channel recently and I love interior design. I’m hoping to get into the business one day.

Rebecca I love your video I do not celebrate christmas any more it is too commercialized but do not comdemn anyone who does for some people( I’m not including you in this statement)itt is the only time they celebrate Jesus and I now try to celebrate the birth of Jesus every day. I do really love the decorations of christmas though and your home is so beautiful the way you do it I do decorate but not with the tree
Hi, I wondered- do you have any pointers for someone that has a home with brick xterior. I would love to put up garland outside but I don’t know how to with brick. Its hard to put in nails and those sticky hooks don’t stick. Please help if you can

@laurenwhit279 I totally agree… Personally, I avoid the phrase Happy Holidays… I purposely say MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone I come across these days. I refuse to let a small minority of very unhappy people rob me of the Joy of CHRISTMAS and everything I have known and loved in my lifetime!
