Interior Decorating ideas?
Building an attic into the third storey of my house. Need to come up with the colour of the walls and a theme that would go with a small attic room. The room is going to be used as a chill out area/study.

Your definitely don’t want to use red, it causes excitation.
Pale blue and green are soothing colors, but they are cold.
Yellow is good for stimulating mental activity, and if the space is cold.
Peach is warm and soothing.
Blue, violet, and green give a sense of spaciousness.
Stay away from dark colors as they make the space look smaller. Light colors give an illusion of spaciousness.
Since you say the area is small, I would stay away from fussy designs and patterns. Keep it simple with one all-over color or a vertical stripe wallpaper.
Spotlighting could make it cosy.
