Bathroom decorating ideas?
I’m hoping to decorate my bathroom.
I was planning on painting it a lavender type purple…any ideas of other colors in the color scheme?
Know any cool new little bathroom knick knacks, or any ideas period?
I’m in my early mid teens and am so bored with my bathroom. lol.

I agree with her ^. Bright lime green with lavender look really good. My friend had her room completely done in these colors and it looked fantastic. I also think that lavender, cream or white, and maybe even a light light orange color. The orange would make it even more energetic.
Any kind of storage things you think are cute and would work well with your bathroom accessories is a plus. Getting these things to match your color scheme is another plus. I heard an idea that I like that I may try in our house if they accept our offer is instead of hiding all of your towels in a closet, get a pretty basket that would go well with your bathroom and get something like string or ribbon that would also match your bathroom and roll up towels you have (smaller ones) and tie them with the ribbon or string. You could also just do this for decoration- you dont have to actually use the towels you put in the basket.
If you have kleenex in your room, another thing that always looks good is get something to put your kleenex box in- you could make something if you wanted- and decorate it with whatever goes with your room. Lots of people put theirs in a chrome tin that you can buy at stores that works well too.
Another thing I saw on a design thing is to buy a little trash can for the bathroom- it can be white or a matching color and see if you can get that feathery stuff- if you don’t know what Im talking about email me and i can try to explain it better… lol.. but take the feathery stuff (that also is a matching color) and put it around the top and/or bottom of your trash can to make it stand out so you don’t have just another plain old ugly trash can.
Rugs always make bathrooms look nice and are helpful to have near the shower. This also kinda depends on how big your bathroom is.

Another thing you could do- if you have a mirror- which you probably do- buy some wooden molding/trim (I haven’t done this yet but I plan to but I’ve heard this stuff is very cheap… you can get it at hardware stores..) and the width of it will depend on how big your mirror is but you can paint the molding one of your matching colors and put it around your mirror. Have your parents help you figure out how to do that because Im not quite sure otherwise I’d tell you. The trim around the mirror makes it look really nice.
